Student Placements
The training hub works closely with local colleges and universities (HEIs)
to support the placement of students in to primary care, in order to
enhance their learning and afford them the opportunity to experience
working in practice. We are also developing our links across Leicester,
Leicestershire and Rutland to expand work experience opportunities for
secondary school and college students.

Supporting student nurse placement opportunities across primary care
We are looking for more placement opportunities for student nurses in general practice, and acknowledging the pressures in primary care currently, we are looking to add additional flexibility to placement options in the hope that more practices and PCNs will be able to host students over the course of the year.
