The LLR Training Hub has collated and listed below a number of sources of support that have been made available for all staff in primary care to access, free of charge. A number of these have only recently been made available in recognition of the current pressures on staff in light of COVID-19. Please feel free to access as many of these offers below as you would like, and to share with your colleagues. A summary of each offer is included alongside the link or contact information.
All General Practice staff who feel they are in any way affected by Covid-19 can self–refer to the confidential emotional and psychological support service.

NHS Practitioner Health – NHSPH; Doctors, Dentists and Staff at Grade 8d or above (or equivalent) – these staff are able to self-refer to the service. This is in recognition of the additional barriers that staff in these roles may face when accessing care confidentially. The registration forms for these groups are on the Practitioner Health Website
Wellbeing Support Options: NHS England has commissioned a range of services to support colleagues in general practice.
NHS England have developed three confidential coaching offers which have been designed to be easily accessible and tailored to your individual needs. The experienced coaches can help you as an individual, support you to manage your team and reflect on your career goals and ambitions.

The NHS has launched a helpline to provide mental health support to NHS staff during the Covid-19 pandemic, in partnership with Hospice UK and bereavement support service Just ‘B’ among other charities. The phone number is 0300 131 7000 or staff can text FRONTLINE to 85258. The phone line will be open between 7 am and 11 pm every day, while the text service will be 24/7.

Unmind is a mental health platform that empowers staff to proactively improve their mental wellbeing. Using scientifically-backed assessments, tools and training you can measure and manage your personal mental health needs, including digital programmes designed to help with stress, sleep, coping, connection, fulfillment and nutrition. The team at Unmind are offering free access to NHS staff until the end of December 2020

Headspace is a science-backed app in mindfulness and meditation, providing unique tools and resources to help reduce stress, build resilience, and aid better sleep. Free access to all NHS staff with an NHS email address is available until 31 December 2020 and is active now.

Sleepio is a clinically-evidenced sleep improvement programme that is fully automated and highly personalised, using cognitive behavioural techniques to help improve poor sleep. Free access to Sleepio is active now until 31 December 2020.
